For the past two months, it has very much been a case of all work and no play for me.
But all that is finally changing! The sun is coming out, ish, and I have some exciting things in the pipeline.
More importantly, with the longer evenings, I have a bit more time to get up to lovely things outside of work. Including a trip down to Poole Museum.
I always love a good museum, I have done since I was small. And Poole Museum, despite being quite tiny, still fills me with excitement.
It's only real theme is Poole. Everything is from varied periods and is completely different, but all of it is about or from Poole. From Bronze Age artefacts, through to smugglers boats, it has a little bit of everything.
This is a local piece of art portraying sea spray. Absolutely stunning and if anyone fancies buying me a gift...
I fell in love with this little guy!
It's not the biggest place in the world, but it is lovely non the less. Especially if, like me, you love your nautical history. And what makes it even better? It's all absolutely free!
So if you have an hour to spare, rain or shine this summer, I can fully recommend a good old wander.
