We made our way through the crowds to a much less hectic side alley, and carried on walking, to see what else we could find.
Small shops selling pretty, painted tiles lined the alleys, though if you're looking for some to buy, I would advise sticking to shops that are away from the centre, as the prices are far more expensive.
We carried on until we came through to a busy district, which after wondering through the hustle and bustle of locals getting on with their daily lives, turned out to be the university area.
Despite not being a tourist hotspot, this part of Sevilla was far more us, with people running to lectures, grabbing a spot of lunch with friends, and generally enjoying the hot, afternoon sun.
A couple more miles and we decided it cold Sangria was in order, so we cwtched up in the corner of a manic cafe and cooled off in the shade of the trees.
I'll be honest, I don't know the name of the cafe - and however lovely it looked, it was expensive, the staff were very offish, and the sangria wasn't that great. Non the less, it was a good chance to cool down, and plan where to head next.
